How to plant and maintain the Alternanthera?
Ideally, Alternanthera bettzickiana likes to be in a semi-submerged situation. Therefore, it is particularly at ease in an open aquarium from which it can protrude.
If it likes its environment, this plant can be rather high. Therefore, place it in the background of your installation. For a nice look, space the feet about 2 cm (0.8") apart.
The diffusion of CO2 is optional. Note that it allows a faster growth of the plant.
